All that we love about Tulum, Mexico
Powdery sand, turquoise seas and everything the earth could possibly give you - An Instagram photo of Tulum's archaeological sites is enough to send us into a state of hysteria. The once entirely unspoilt beach town comes as close to paradise as it can get. We've rounded up our favourite places to eat, shop and relax in the city.
For a refuge from the day to day
Nomade. One of the most beautiful boutique hotels and a destination for spirituality and wellbeing in one. With yoga, sound healings and inspiring talks in midst of a lush jungle surrounding - a place to fuel up your inspiration to take back home.
For the best homemade pasta
Posada Margherita. Rustic and eclectic beach front restaurant on a beautiful stretch of beach. Delicious Italian dishes combined with a friendly and dedicated service of staff - definitely a favourite for pizza and pasta. Posada Margherita also hosts a beautiful small boutique next door (hint: Cloe Cassandro stockist).
The best streetfood in town
Taqueria Honorio. Road side restaurant in about a 5 min drive from Tulum beach, the family run Taqueria Honorio serves the most delicious street food (the cochinita pibil torta is a must!).
For magical sunsets
Find a tucked away corner on the far side of Tulum Beach to enjoy the golden hour.
It can really not get any more peaceful than that.
For the early bird
Secluded seaside resort Maya Tulum is great for morning yoga - tucked away on the corner of the beach, it's a wellness destination like no other.
For an immersive shopping experience
Zak Ik, the boutique and creative space inside the Azulik resort immerses you the minute you walk in, showcasing the return to basics. Walking through what feels like a nest, you'll land in an open, tranquil space. Imagine a futuristic museum, with a sensation around quality and creativity.
The jungle eatery
If a spectacular dining experience is what you're after, Tulum's most beloved restaurant Hartwood is for you. Tables sell out months in advance, but join the queue at 5pm to put your name down and you might be up for a chance to get a table.
